BROMPTON M3L Folding Bike in good used condition.
Bike tmhas some usual chips and scratches in the paint from general use and storage.
I bought this bike secondhand around ten years ago, and used it to commute, I the upgraded to a different brompton and this one was put into retirement. After a couple of years I thought I would breath some life into this one and gave it a full refurbishment, mainly in including hand built brand new wheels with a brand new 3 speed hub and dymo hub on the front, new chain ring and chain and I think I fitted a new bottom bracket.  The bike has seen less than 50 miles of use since I did this work.
When I used to use the bike for commuting it actually developed a crack in the rear triangle near the chainring. I was able to have this repaired by a frame builder friend of mine who brazed a small steel plate over the crack as well to provide it with some strength. It has not been an issue since.
The bike has an extended length seatpost in it but I will provide a unused standard length one that can be fitted if desired. It has a bag cover with the bike as well.
I have upgraded the old Brompton wheels with industrial castor's which work well. It also has the modern folding pedals and saddle.
Due to its age, it doesn't have the rear Triangle locking mechanism, but I have a 3rd party retrofitted version that works a treat. You can fit a Brompton on but this has never bothered me.
Great little bike, I am sad to see it go, but I need the money to buy a house!
