De Rosa R848 2013 Carbon Road Bike

This beautifully Italian made road bike is the perfect choice for a rider who wants a bike that will perform well and is equipped with superbly made components. Much more than an “entry level” bike, the R848 is elegant, showing attention for every detail, as in the case of all De Rosa’s products.
The carbon monocoque frame and carbon fork deliver incredible handling qualities and performs well in all conditions. The style of frame is stunning and the carefully designed graphics and attractive lines combine perfectly with its technical requirements necessary to participate in modern cycling.
The chainset is Shimano's Tiagra and comes in the form of a compact. This means that this bike gives you a vast array of gears to play with which should get you up the steepest of climbs and also give you the straight line speed you require along the flat.
Deda components are seen throughout the bike and are present at the handlebars, stem and seat post with Prologo (Kappa) being the saddle of choice. A pair of Shimano RS00 wheels, complete with a set of color matching Vittoria Zaffiro tires, finish of this lovely bike in fine style completing its great look.
I purchased this bike brand new and have only taken it out on 2/3 occasions around the block; unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, I simply haven't had the time to ride or enjoy it. I am only selling now as I know there are keen cyclists out there that would make good use of it and take advantage of it's full riding potential. It has now been in storage for some time, hence it's excellent condition and will be dispatched (safely packaged) and sent by UPS in 1-3 working days.
