Moulton TSR 30, separable, needs attention to front gear changer.

Moulton TSR
30, separable, maroon paint, made approx. 2008, in generally good condition,
except for a problem with the front changer that I have not been able to get
fixed or replaced since lockdown. The chain is missing out the middle ring when
changing down from the large one. The derailleur works correctly moving from
small to middle to top so the middle ring is still available when riding.

This Campag derailleur
is not manufactured now. It might need a spring replaced or to be renewed
entirely. My local shop, which is not a Moulton specialist, did not want to
tackle it. Other shops were not answering calls or emails so I am selling it as
it is.

This bike
comes with fitted Moulton rear rack, plain/cleat double sided pedals and a
Brooks leather saddle. It is pretty much original apart from normal wearing
parts. Two new tyres unfitted are included in the sale.

It has only
had moderate use, and for long periods not used at all. One of a small collection
of bikes, it was “kept for best”. The photo of the chainwheel shows that there
is little wear. Some frame marks.

Cash and collection
in person preferred; my house is about ten minutes from Junct 2 of the
M1, or PayPal and courier only to UK addresses at buyer’s cost, about £25.
