Raleigh Gran Sport road touring bike

This is a beautiful bike in excellent condition, ideal for someone looking to get into longer distance rides, or commuting in and around the city. The ride quality is very smooth and it's a great looking bike that I've always enjoyed riding. I bought it in 2015 to do some long distance rides, however I haven't actually cycled that many miles on it and it's in excellent condition. All components are very good quality (Shimano groupset) and I recently changed the tyres to new Continental Gatorskin road tyres.  The bike comes with front and rear full length mudguards (not shown in photos as I prefer to cycle without them). Pannier racks can be added at the front and back so ideal for a commuter.Below is the full spec of the bike but please feel free to get in touch with any other questions.The item is for collection only in east London (E14)From the website spec:The Frame is manufactured from Reynolds 520 butted chromoly tubing and the forks from 4130 chromoly tubing - making it a comfortable bike to ride. It's packed with features that will please any tourer who believes in comfort at all times, with the benefits of modern day technology. For added comfort and cycling pleasure, the Gran Sport also comes fitted with full length, colour matching, mudguards - great for when raining or the roads are damp. You also have the option to fit either front or rear racks to the bike also which is great if you want to attached panniers (bags) to the bike so to aid you to carry your belongings securely.As mentioned, the bike comes fitted with Shimano's 2300 groupset giving you 16 gears and good performing shifting when required. Braking is taken control of thanks to Tektro and their long reach caliper brakes. The chainset is 2300 and a compact version, which coupled with the large array of rear sprockets should get you up the steepest of climbs, longest of drags with ease and still provide the gearing for speed along the flat roads.Continental Gatorskin road tyres wrap around Weinmann TR18 rims (on Shimano 2300 hubs). The slightly larger width tyres helps to give better tracking and greater comfort whilst riding and the rims provide the stability and strength required as you tackle your local 'pothole' ridden roads.Finishing off the package is a Raleigh Classic touring saddle which sits on top of a RSP alloy seat post.
