Rare Vintage Roberts Cycles 10 Speed Racing Bike c1970/80s Campagnolo 531 Tube

For sale I have a rare Vintage Chas Roberts Cycles 10 Speed Racing Bike c1970/80s.I’m selling this lovely bike as I’m not using it anymore and would prefer it to go to someone who can appreciate it.The frame size ie seat post size is 54cm therefore a medium sized frame comfortable for anyone between 5ft 6-5ft 9 inches in height.The frame is made from Reynolds 531 tubing and is a deep crimson red with white Roberts graphics, it’s in very good order but does have marks and scratches/paint chips commensurate with its age. It is fitted with chromed front forks with the R for Roberts impressed at the top.The running gear is as follows: Campagnolo nuovo record gears, Campagnolo Mirage 170 crankset, Campagnolo brake callipers and Campagnolo brake levers with white hoods, FWE track pedals, Cinelli 66-42 handlebars, together with Campagnolo rims fitted with Continental Gatorskin 23mm to tear and Continental Duraskin to front.I would say that the bike is in very good vintage condition considering its age but would expect it to need s good service and overhaul to get it back in roadworthy condition.So to summarise here we have a very nice vintage racing bike approx 40 or so years old, in very nice clean condition with no rust etc ready to be given a new lease of life and to be enjoyed by their new owner.I’ve started the bike at what I think it’s worth just in scrap parts so hopefully will sell ok, if not I’m not bothered as money isn’t the primary factor in parting with it.Your more than welcome to come and view the bike at my home address in London SE26 please message for appointment etcGood luck
