Thorn Voyager Kiddyback tandem, for adult and child. Black, 26" wheels.. Condition is "Used".I've used this Thorn Kiddybak tandem to take my boys to primary school, to commute to work, to go shopping, and to ride on holiday. It is the most reliable and comfortable bike I've owned (and I have two other tandems to compare it to). Thorn bikes are very, very well made.Using it for school run at the present time is the coolest thing you can do: your children will love it, and being on a tandem is a great conversation starter.The tandem will fit children from 4 - 11 years old. The rear cranks are short, and have two positions for the pedals, so you can make them even shorter.The captain (front) dimensions are:- seat post to bottom bracket -  49 cm- cross bar to bottom bracket - 42.5 cm- seat post to stem - 54These suit me, a 178 cm male, perfectly, but it will also suit a captain who is several cms shorter or taller (see photos to see how I have the seat and handlebar adjusted).Spec of main partsHub: Shimano DeoreTiming chain: KMC, recently changedGears: 3x8: rear derailleur Shimano Acera, front Suntour XC-1.Tires: Schwalbe Marathon 26 x 1.5Timing rings: Stronglight (I think)Wheel rims: Araya front, and Alesa rear, to replace the originals, which wore out.Shifters: SRAM Grip-shifts.Saddles: The captain saddle is padded, but the cover is worn, but you will want to use your own saddle.Pedal: resin with toe straps (captain pedals are different to ones in photo)Mudguards: SKS (rear has been repaired)The tandem has been well maintained. Wheels are true and spin smoothly; rims not worn; paintwork in very good condition (it's tough).
