Early 80's Vintage Aerospace with original alloy fork i think it's a Pro model but can't be sure. Finished in an original gunmetal grey and orange colour scheme not normally seen in the uk , this one came from europe possibly hence the non standard colour scheme. The fillet brazed Frame size is 23 1/2" or 60cm from centre of crank to centre of seat pinch bolt , 22 1/2" or 57cm centre to centre along the top tube and has a stand over height of 33" or 84 cm.Paintwork is good with some age related marks and patina as to be expected from a bike of this age.Gearing is 2 x 5 with a stronglight sx crank with 170 mm arms , frony mechanism is a Shimano Titlist unit whilst the rear is a shimano crane unit both are controlled by a set of band on shimano friction levers and new cables.Braking is done by Viscount branded centre pull calipers operated by non aero Shimano 105 levers with new inner & outer cables and top tube cable guides.Wheels are 700c with the front being the original "Normandy" large flange that is dated to 1980 laced to a rigida rim whilst the rear hub is not marked and the rear rim is a newer style Rigida Chrima one. Tyres are Hutchinson flash. No visable stampings on the 80 mm stem and the bars are SR sakae road champion with some light scratching and new yellow ribbon style bar tape.As far as i can tell the fork is the type 3 version but you will need to confirm this yourself on inspection . As shown in the last picture the centre piece in the fork crown is magnetic.Rides well and is a classic bike that are getting rarer to find .Please note the garmin mount , selle smp saddle , clip in pedals and under saddle bag mount not included although a saddle and pedals are included.collection in London preferred. If you want shipping you will have to arrange it yourself. I’m happy to box it for you but you’ll need to have a box delivered to me.
